"I cannot believe what I saw that night. It was beyond anything I had ever imagined, beyond any horror movie or nightmare. I was out for a walk, minding my own business, when I felt a chill down my spine. At first, I thought it was just the cold, but then I saw it. A dark shape, hovering in the air, just out of reach of the streetlights. It was like nothing I had ever seen before. It seemed to be made of shadows, twisting and squirming like a living thing. I couldn't see its face, but I could feel its gaze on me, probing my mind, searching for something."

"I tried to run, but my legs wouldn't move. I was frozen in place, unable to look away from the creature. And then it spoke, in a voice that was not a voice, but a cold, unfeeling presence in my mind. It said things that I couldn't understand, things that made no sense in any language I knew. This signifies that these enigmatic creatures are capable of persisting in their existence, nigh undiminished even after traversing the vast interdimensional void that separates our mundane reality from theirs. Such assertions are profoundly alarming and unsettling; for the mere thought of otherworldly beings breaching the ostensibly impregnable barrier between realms is enough to shatter and rend asunder the very foundations of our understanding of reality as we know it. It remains exceedingly difficult to verify or corroborate these claims with any degree of certainty or veracity, as there exists but scant documentation pertaining to this rarefied phenomenon; save for the cryptic signals described in later chapters."
